German Theatrical Release on March 28, 2024

Free Ticket Lottery Marking the Theatrical Release of One Life

The film One Life takes up a key subject of exile, the Kindertransporte, or “children transports” in 1938/39. This film tells the story of Sir Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, who saved 669 Jewish children in Czech refugee camps from the Nazis in a race against time before the outbreak of the Second World War. Oscar prizewinner Anthony Hopkins plays the aged Nicky Winton, who later met the children then saved as an old man.
Based on a true story, British director James Hawes creates a touching portrait of a remarkably courageous man who, despite all obstacles, tries with unshakeable strength to make the impossible possible.

To mark the film’s theatrical release in Germany, three sets of two tickets will be raffled. They can be used for any screening at cinemas all across Germany.
To participate, send an email with the subject "Kinokarten ONE LIFE" and your name and address to filmgewinnspiel@entertainmentkombinat.de by March 18. Winners will be notified by email.
