The Competition
The Stiftung Exilmuseum is presently implementing an architectural competition for the realization of a new museum building in coordination with the Berlin Senate and the district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The project commission will be awarding the most convincing design concept that responds to all of the building’s programmatic, spatial, and design requirements in addition to meeting rigorous standards of urban planning and historical preservation.

Ten architectural offices have developed designs. These are:

All submissions will be on display in the Staatsbibliothek Berlin from 28 September 2020. Further information will follow.
