Volha Hapeyeva is one of Belarus’ most famous poets and has lived in Germany since 2020. Her work engages with the subjects of origin, homeland, identity, and the loss of her own language. Calling herself a nomad, Hapeyeva wanders in her poetry between languages, countries, periods, and planets.

In conversation with the journalist Nadine Kreuzahler, Volha Hapeyeva will speak about her works and read from her recent volume of poetry Trapezherz, published in 2023.
