This 15-minute documentary provides a provocative perspective on the meaning of shelter today by taking a closer look at Berlin's refugee housing, the Tempohomes. Referencing the research project "Architectures of Asylum" at the TU Berlin, the film puts the shelter's initial design into question by examining how refugees rearranged their space revealing their limitations. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film makers, Ayham Dalal and Kamil Bembnista as well as Shahd Wari from the Berlin Office for Refugee Affairs, moderated by René Kreichauf (JFK Institute).
