Photo Competition: The Winners

What does exile look like through the lens of a camera? This question was the focus of a special workshop that we organised in November with a group of young people who have experienced exile. With the help of photographer Juliette Moarbes, the participants explored how to express their own perspectives photographically and explore the topic of exile in a creative way.

The workshop was also a preparation for the photo competition. The jury consisted of Cornelia Vossen, Artistic Director of Exilmuseum, and the photographers Muhammad Salah and Nafis Fathollahzadeh.

Congratulations to the three lucky winners and many thanks to all participants! All submissions will be on display at Werkstatt Exilmuseum in 2025. Further information to follow.
