Audio installation: Der Reisende (The Passenger)
The collective Auricle (Berlin/London) presents the premiere of the installation “Der Reisende”. It is based on the novel by Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz about the fictional Jewish merchant Otto Silbermann, who tries to flee Germany during the November pogroms in 1938.
Immersive sound design and binaural technology make it possible to intensively relive parallels between the exile experience of that time and today.
Spoken by Samuel Finzi, Bjarne Mädel and Maja Schöne, among others.
